Anadolu Cam completes furnace investment in Russia

Turkish glass manufacturer Anadolu Cam completed the first of its two glass furnace investments in Krasnodar, Russia.

The furnace, the construction of which started in the third quarter of 2007, has a 120.000-ton annual glass packaging capacity. With the addition of the new furnace, the company’s total capacity in Russia will rise to 1 million tons per annum.

Anadolu Cam plans to increase its capacity in Russia to 1.5 million tons by year-end 2009.
