Haymarket brings monthly title back to UK

PrintWeek publisher Haymarket Publishing has transferred the book Printing of its Windpower Monthly title to the UK.

Welsh printer Stephens & George will handle the print production of the 100pp-plus monthly magazine Printing, which has a print run of around 4,000 copies. The perfect-bound title was previously printed in Denmark.

Chris King, group production director at Haymarket, said moving the title to the UK would allow the publisher to achieve greater economies of scale, while also reducing the carbon footprint associated with printing service abroad.

"We are full of admiration though for the Danish printer that had carried out the printing china manufacturers of this job until now. They did a very professional job," he added.
