LBH Litho has confirmed that it is "in discussions" with former Rhodes magazine Printing director Mark Ward about a possible move to join the Blackburn-based Printing company, less than a week after Rhodes announced it was set for liquidation.
Around 16 jobs were lost when St Helens-based Rhodes book printing said it had proposed Tenon Recovery in Manchester as liquidators.
While a meeting of creditors is still scheduled for 20 October, LBH managing director Alan Brown said that both Ward and Rhodes printing magazine sales manager Tricia Lyons are currently in discussions about a possible move, but that nothing has been confirmed.
The collapse of Rhodes follows on from the liquidation of Abbotts Creative Printing, which was acquired out of administration by a china printing manufacturer company called TWRM, of which Mark Ward was also a director.
Ward did not return calls.
