Consumer Waste Packaging Launched by Salazar

Sustainable packaging firm Salazar packaging has launched a material ideal for cushioning, corner protection and wrapping made from 100% consumer waste.

Its proprietary Globe Guard Eco Flex Molded Pulp is reusable, recyclable and biodegradable. It can be bent, snapped and cut to pieces allowing it to be used in a variety of forms.

Eco Flex is strong enough to replace less eco-friendly Packaging products including rigid and flexible polyethylene foams, bubble wrap and polystyrene peanuts.

As the material does not require moulds or dyes, the company promotes that is is affordable for small volume users.
