Water bottles free from the potentially hazardous chemical bisphenol A (BPA), which are also reusable and durable have been launched throughout the US and Canada by Penguin Brands.

Three US cities have recently banned the sale of BPA bottles and sipper cups for children below the age of three.

Eastman Chemical company has released its Nathan Performance Gear Flip Straw Pure bottle made of Eastman Tritan copolyester, which is both durable and dishwasher-safe, the company says.

The bottles feature wide mouth, easy grip screw-top lid and a clip for attaching to belts and allow access to liquids without removing the cap.

The bottles are available in 1L, 700mL and 500mL sizes and are resistant to cracking and heat.
